This website and the enquiries you send us. It doesn't cover the CCTV on your farm: you run your CCTV and are responsible for it. When we support your system, we act on your instructions under a written data processing agreement.

• What you type into our forms: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, what you'd like watched and any notes. Installers also give their company name and the area they cover.
• What you tell us by email or phone.
• Basic technical information our website host records to run and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or any tracking.

• To reply to you, arrange a site visit and give you a quote. The legal basis is taking steps you've asked for before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To answer installer enquiries and keep basic records of who we've spoken to. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the business (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To keep the website secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting it.
• To keep the business records that tax and company law require. The legal basis is our legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

We won't send you marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell your information.

• Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and receives form submissions. Netlify is in the USA and is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Google, which provides our email. Google is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
• Our accountant, insurers or professional advisers if needed, and the police or courts if the law requires it.

• Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months, then we delete them.
• If you become a customer: for as long as you're a customer and 6 years after, for tax and legal reasons.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask us to limit or stop using it, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@nightops.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top.
